Lyall recently retired from his position as manager/counsellor with the Province of Manitoba, Canada. Over the span of his 38-year career in social services he has held a variety of positions within government, not-for-profit, and private organizations; including Residential Counsellor, Employment Counsellor, Supervisor of Employment Services, Regional Program Manager, Acting Regional Director, Provincial Business Transformation Specialist, Provincial Agency Relations Coordinator and Provincial Market-Abilities Program Specialist.
In his retirement, Lyall is now able to devote time to other pursuits, including deepening his walk of faith, his role as a Board Member for the Spinal Cord Injuries-Manitoba Chapter, and assisting his wife as a an active member of Hallick and Associates - a consulting and training firm in Manitoba, Canada that serves to empower agencies and businesses develop their human resource potential and build a culturally proficient, inclusive, trauma-informed workforce. In partnership with LAMb International, and as a member of their Global Capacity Building Network, Lyall has conducted training and PATH planning sessions in Ukraine, India and Ethiopia. Lyall remains committed to promoting children’s inclusion within both families and the community by empowering individuals, families, NGOs, and governments to build working partnerships.
